2 pilgrims killed‚ 44 injured in Nawalparasi bus accident | Nov 29 2013
KAWASOTI: Two people were killed and 44 others injured in a bus accident at Tamsariya, Nawalparasi district along the East-West Highway on Friday morning.
The accident took place when a bus (Na. 4 Kha. 6368) heading to Manakamana from Nepalgunj overturned on the road after the driver lost control over the wheels.
The deceased are Sagar Pun (14) and Mamchu Adhikari (3) of Nepalgunj Municipality-13. They died while receiving treatment at Nawalpur Hospital, Kawasoti and Madhyabindu Hospital, Danda, said the District Police Office.
Others injured are receiving treatments at local health facilities.
